Agnes (Nannie) Ross
was born on 1st January 1887 in Cumnock to William Ross and Margaret Wilson. She was a nurse at Manor War Hospital in Epsom Surrey and died there of pneumonia on 5th February 1918, aged 31.

was the son of a ploughman from Edderton in Ross-shire and rose to become Deputy Chief Constable.
Agnes (as Nannie)was buried in Cumnock new cemetery in the family lair along with Christina who died in Cumnock aged 3 in 1893. Agnes does not appear on the War Memorial.
