John McGill

Guardsman John McGill was the only son of John McGill and Isabella Baird Lymburner. He was born in Cumnock on 29th November 1894 and was a draper.
His father was Colour Sergeant John McGill who was the recruiting sergeant  for WW1.  (his obituary) What an irony that his own son fell.
