John Mair

John Mair was born on 6th December 1896 at 178 Gaswater, in Auchinleck  the son of James Mair an iron miner and his wife Mary Hamilton. He was 21 when he was killed in France on 25th March 1918. He was a private in the HLI. He wasn't  married and doesn't appear to have any siblings.
His mother died in Lugar in 1932.
