David Skilling

On Cumnock War Memorial he is recorded as Pte. David A. G. Skillen, elsewhere his names seems to be spelt SKILLING.

He was born in  Cumnock  in 1896 to William Skilling and his second wife Elizabeth Galbraith.
He was only 20 when he was killed in action at the Somme.
